It enables you to browse installed and uninstalled fonts, view detailed information about each font, print font samples, install or uninstall any number of fonts at once, load (and unload) any number of fonts for temporary use, and a lot more. It's one of my favorite applications out there. It might not have all the bells and whistles, but you can do exactly what you need to do in it... import music or other audio, edit the audio together, apply filters when needed, and save out a finished audio file. Tutorials and documentation is also found for free. --------- ACID XPress 5(PC) mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/download/freestuff.asp Installer (online) Creating looped soundtracks is esy with ACID. It has some shortcomings from it's bigger brother ACID, especially with the ability to only export 20 times, but it is still a blast to work with. You also have to register the product to use it. --------- Garage Band (MAC) www.apple.com/ilife/garageband If you are on the MAC side, you may try Garage Band. The newest version is not free though. Garage Band is a loop music tool that has gone a bit beyond... mostly in the style of the loops they use. I played with it once for a while and was very impressed. A great tool!
